Upgraded from a 27" flat 1080p to this beast.
First impressions, curved screen takes a little while to get used to, but its not as bad as it seems. 1500 curvature seems to be a sweet spot nowadays.
As reviewer mentioned below, its good once you get the monitor calibrated, so make sure to do that once you hook this up.
One thing that put me off a bit was the black borders around the screen, between the bezels and active screen. It's not as thing as pictured on the image, where the screen spans all the way across. Bezel + border is around 1.2cm thick running around the top, left and right hand sides of the screen.
Solid red RGB lighting on back of panel ascents, and welcoming addition to have a display port cable bundled with the monitor.
1440p panel is a welcome upgrade, and 144hz is great for gaming. It is an easy to set up monitor, with a solid base stand.
Tilting of the panel is a bit flimsy and not height adjustable, recommend VESA mount if thats an issue for you.
If I'm honest I'ma a little disapointed with this monitor. Yes, for the money it's a great spec, 144hz 1440p monitors just don't come this cheap. Previous monitor was an LG Ultrawide 1080p 75hz. Going down in size but up in res hasn't been an issue. The curve is pretty subtle and largely I don't notice it that much. My LG was an IPS panel, going back to a VA pannel has been more of an issue than I'd expect. The viewing angle is poor, even slightly off centre and you notice the colour shift. The interface is very clunky, multi-button to navigate through some basic menus, it feels very 2006. My LG has a small nubbin which makes navigating the menues a hell of a lot easier. The overal quality feels very cheap, down to the packaging, the plastics etc it just feels very budget (which I guess it very much is). The screen really struggles for any deffinition in the shadows, I've tried playing with contrast and brightness to improve, but it's still not great. In the end I used the options with my graphics card to really dial it in, and now it's pretty good.
It says VESA 75 x 75 compatible, but the screws are set so deep into the back of the monitor my bracket (which has mounting for 100 x 100 as well as 75 x 75) didn't look to be compatible. Fortunatley the monitor also comes with a wall mount, which convieniently uses 100 x 100 mounting, so I was able to use my monitor stand after all. This works, but it's a little sketchy, the wall bracket doen't really fit properly into the back of the monitor so they include these much longer screws (poor engineering). This led to the monitor being a little front heavy so I've had to tighten up the tilt adjustment on my monitor bracket to compensate.
The pixel density and the refresh rate are what really save this monitor, and it's the whole reason I got it. stepping up from 1080p 75hz to this really is HUGE. If you're upgrading to 144hz, remeber to turn this on in Windows display settings, as you won't natively get this if you don't. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but as a product it's pretty flawed, you will need to do quite a bit of work to get it looking good with your games.
I recently purchased this monitor in the winter sale and have to admit was only looking to upgrade the size of the monitor from my 24 inch 1080p, however, having read the spec's and the fact it has a Samsung screen i thought why not give it a try. This monitor is better than any other in its price range not only does it have a high refresh rate of 144 mHz, great resolution of 1440p and curved. If using the monitor ensure that you select the correct mode (i just use movie at the moment as i am only running a rx 570 and as such it provides the best colour and brightness needed).

For all those that expect Samsung quality you do get it but be mindful these screens don't fully meet Samsung strict criteria for their own sales but are still better than most. No dead pixels etc.
Buyers need to be mindful that this is still a budget monitor and does not have height or tilt functions as with expensive monitors.
So for value and performance i give it 5 stars. Those people looking for a great 1440p high refresh rate monitor you need look no further including AMD Freesync.
I did a lot of research before buying and have had my eye on this for awhile i even talked to people who own similar models (some slightly bigger) and they have no complaints. The nearest competitor would be LG at over $500 so buying at sale means a huge saving from normal Retail price and almost $180 on the LG.
You still get the 1 year warranty as standard but if you setup and leave it alone there should be no problems.
got this monitor during the recent sale so i got a bit more bang for buck. had it for about a week or two now and i like it. a big plus for me is the va panel. i don't see myself in the reflection (my laptop has a tn panel and i can see myself while typing this). everything looks good and it doesn't hurt to look at for long periods of time.
even though this is a gaming monitor, the only bit of it that yells gaming is the red backlight leds on the back (which give the monitor a nice red glow at night). you can use this for anything else and still get good value out of it.

this monitor comes with 144hz refresh rate, this is great for gaming. i don't have a gaming monitor (just have a ps4 slim) so i can't properly utilize the high refresh rate. as mentioned on the product page it is 1440p, having this on a 27" monitor keeps images sharp and you really have to put your eyes up close to notice the individual pixels. 27 inches is where 1080 begins to not look that good up close (you see the pixels pretty easily), if you care about image quality get a 1440p monitor if you're going to get this size.
as good as 1440p is most videos (like on youtube) normally are just uploaded at 1080 and in my case the ps4 slim only does up to 1080p (the ps4 pro just skips 1440p and goes straight to 4k) so there is some upscaling going on. however 1080 upscaled to 1440 doesn't look bad (1440p is just 2k) since it's the next resolution up. if your gaming computer struggles a bit getting good fps at 1440p just go back to 1080 and you won't see a big dip in image quality.
the monitors stand was a small concern when i bought this, i thought the monitor would be a little front heavy. the monitor stand is metal and has no issues holding up the monitor display. one last thing to mention, the monitor has no side or vertical adjustment. you can't turn it a bit to the side or tilt it upwards. you might want a taller table or just lower your seat if this becomes a problem for you.
besides that, this is a great monitor and it's even better if you get it on sale.
Great monitor for the price. Bought 2 of them for a multi-monitor setup. Would highly recommend - was skeptical at first due to branding but glad I bought em! Great monitor for the price. was skeptical when looking at this 1440p monitor with lack of swivel or height adjust, But it performs very good. The vibrant colours are a little off with a much darker tone but can be adjusted in settings so no big deal. Got it on sale and mounted it on a monitor arm to satisfy my functionality in terms of height and swivel, viewing angles are surprisingly good. Overall I would buy this monitor again if given the chance.Would recommend this monitor on sale to anyone in the market for a sub $400 1440p monitor. was skeptical when looking at this 1440p monitor with lack of swivel or height adjust, But it performs very good. The colours on this screen are over saturated, and no amount of calibration seems to fix that. I suspect that's the original QA failure that has these panels not shipped with the Samsung brand on them.
See some threads about other people having these issues here https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/fglc7u/buying_a_1440p_144hz_monitor_new_zealand/
If I'd paid full price for this I would be sending it back. But for what I paid for it, its just good enough to keep. I'm using it to program, and my kids will use it to game, for both tasks having slightly off colours isn't the end of the world.
On the plus side, no dead pixels.

Good refresh rate, nice quality, great viewing angles.
Unless you are side on you won't notice the curve and the small amount of black around the screen becomes unnoticeable after a small amount of use.
would recommend.

So far I would recommend this screen, great quality and great after purchase care from PBtech who helped me swap out a new monitor due to some dead pixels.
I don't think anyone could be disappointed in this monitor once its calibrated. The only con is the fixed monitor stand which I've done away with mounting it on my wall.

I was originally looking for an AOC monitor but it was discontinued, found this exact dupe, thought the larger curve might take some getting used to but honestly, loved it straight away. This replaced my two monitor set up and has made my desk look so clean.
Whether I’m playing a farming game or a FPS this monitor is brilliant.
