Will this work on ps4? Asked by: Guest on 25 January 2021
A
Yes, but not ideal. The PS4 can only display FHD 16:9, so it will appear not as crisp with black bars on both sides. It also may not achieve over 60Hz.

What graphics card are you using? if its an Nvidia card, right click on desktop and select "Nvidia Control Panel" > Display > Change Resolution. From there select your resolution as 3440 x 1440 which is what mine shows under PC and also set the refresh rate to 144hz.

No, PS5 only supports 120Hz 1080p (FHD) or 2160p (4k) at a standard ratio of 16:9 of most TV's. On this monitor it will display at 1080p with big black bars on both sides as it cannot stretch to fit this ultra-wide monitor, at 120Hz if it can adapt or default to 60Hz.

Technically yes but it won’t be well suited. The Xbox will only display in 16:9 ratio so won’t use the full width of the monitor and you’ll have black bars at the sides. The refresh rate also won’t be fully utilised.

Short answer is that it's different to a QLED TV. Same type of display panel, but not made for the same purpose so does not display in quite the same way.
