Titan Army 34GSR 34" WQHD 180Hz Ultrawide Curved Gaming Monitor

I bought this monitor a week ago and quickly found that it kept flickering at 180Hz, obtrusively so, but not at 165Hz. I went on all the internet support forums and went through all the software fixes I could find, days passed but nothing. I assumed it was the cable that came with it that was failing to provide enough signal bandwidth, so I bought a VESA certified cable at the princely sum of $40 (ouch!). That seemed to fix the issue, for five minutes and... then the flickering returned. Dejected, I decided to have one last scan through the obvious settings before filling out the dreaded RMA form. Lo and behold! What is that before thy eyes... a scale setting in windows display options set to 150%? Could that be the culprit, my nemesis that has been haunting me for the past week? Well, six hours after changing that one setting there hasn't been a flicker in sight, so... #&%@ you Microsoft!

My one gripe so far is that the monitor is advertised as a 34-inch screen, but the actual display area is closer to 33-inches. Still I'm sure Titan Army are not the only ones in life to have exaggerated the size of their ahem... equipment! Everything else though is pretty sweet for now :) At least until the next Microsoft bug raises its ugly head :(

First time getting a ultra-wide monitor and one that is curved! I've had nothing but great things to say about it, does exactly what it sets out to do.

Purchased for home office as it is what I am used to at work. Works fine with my work laptop (HP probook).
However, may not work properly with older laptops. Partner's laptop distorts the view on the monitor with stretching occurring in the centre of the screen. Not sure if this is graphics settings related, but some quick troubleshooting did not fit the issue. Purchased for home office as it is what I am used to at work. Was pleased with the monitor initially. However, when I ran a dead pixel test once setting it up there were at least 3 dead pixels. Will take it in to return or swap for another monitor.
