It is very nice phone with strong speakers, nice camera and many features. We are not using it for games so no idea how it works in games but for other functions it works very nice and battery hold quite long up to two or three days. I took a gamble on this phone as the manufacturer website said some countries had NFC, but unfortunately the description was correct and it does not have NFC, this means google wallet will not let you pay wirelessly, as I do at almost every shop these days - pretty annoying. Solid phone, you can't really go wrong with Xiaomi for budget end tech. Runs well, high refresh rate is nice, very customisable, all round good phone but best when on sale.
Glad it came with a rubber case because the cameras are pretty bulky otherwise. The wide angle isn't very good but all the other camera features are pretty sweet, quality is nice. Would have liked the battery to be a bit better however it charges quick so no biggie.

This phone is a great purchase if you are looking for a sleek modern and vibrant phone, maybe it's a little to modern for my taste, but the performance of the phone is great and smooth, the phone comes with a phone case and an already on screen protector, the fingerprint is built into the screen, but it isn't that sensitive and you need a reasonable amount of force to open your phone. Still a great purchase, and I highly recommend for anyone that doesn't want to spend so much on a phone with great features when this one is also on the market. Bought the Redmi Note 13 when PBT had great special on it a couple of weeks ago. I'm not a big spender on phones but this deal seemed to be really good and it's proven to be so. After dealing with stupid software updates and bad performance and other dumb features, I decided to install a custom rom. What is a simple 30 minute process on most other phones has turned into an hour long struggle between me, my phone, and trying to make an account. If you are a developer or just want to try modifying a phone, do not buy this. I bought this phone a few weeks ago as my old one was pretty dead. I have had mixed feelings about this phone and am glad I got it on sale instead of paying the full price.

Pros:
- 120hz screen. Makes animations and some games so much smoother and nicer to watch. Supposedly uses more battery but the battery lasts more than 2 days on 1 charge (brand new) so that is not an issue.
- Amazing battery life. Of course, mine being brand new, I am yet to see any obvious battery degradation. Out of the box it has been able to survive more than 3 days on a single charge if I need it to. I am used to having not forget to charge my old phone but with this, that really is
not an issue. When paired with a nice powerbank it will last a very long time.
- Fast charging. When charging at its max speed it can go from 0 to 100 in about an hour.
- Lots of storage + sd card slot. I tend to have lots of photos, videos, and games on my phone, so it is nice to have a good amount of base storage + the option to add more if needed.
- Bright screen. The screen can get quite bright which is very nice if you need to use it in the sun. Even without it at max, you can still see the screen when in direct sunlight.

Cons:
- Not very powerful cpu. I have noticed that sometimes when unlocking my phone, or after a restart it can be PAINFULLY slow at loading the home screen. Apps can also sometimes take a while to launch.
- Updates. This one is due to the brand, not the phone, but still. I saw it had an update, so I checked what it was going to do and it said it was an "security update". For some reason this "security update" was 4GB in size and also changed a bunch of ui elements that I was just
getting used to. Not very happy about that but oh well.
- The camera. For a phone of this price, and it have three cameras on the back, I was expecting at least 1080p 60fps video. But alas, the max is 1080p 30fps. Also, when in the normal camera mode, fine details can look a bit blurry even when they are pretty close (like text on a
monitor). But the 108MP mode seems to look fine.

Overall it is an alright phone with an okay price. The only reason I actually like this phone is because of my last one having no battery life and not enough storage.
