Pretty much everything you care/wanted from the S23 without the hefty price tag. Sure if you nitpick you can find the differences. The biggest win for this phone is is the bigger battery, longest I stretched it to was 3 whole days of using it while on a roadtrip. First "high-end" phone I've purchased; and it has ruined me for life... I couldn't go back to $300 phones now. This is too nice. Great screen with great touch; camera superior to anything I've had in the past. Everything just works: no pauses, no glitches, no lag.

Voice-over-wifi / Wifi-Calling was a must for me; and it... just works... perfectly. eSIM support will make overseas trips sooo much easier. I didn't think wireless charging would be more than a fad... but since my car has a charger, I haven't had to plug the phone in once after day-1. Battery is OK... lasts a day, even though I have the battery life option ticked (limits full charge to 85%).

I had an A50 but smashed in mountain biking. That was the best camera on a phone I have ever had and wanted the same quality on the phone. I tried 2 models in the A series but they were just not good enough ( need a good camera). The S 23 is perfect - without going overbaord on price. Love it! Previous android user and my previous Oppo broke accidentally. Made the switch back to Samsung and the phone was a very easy switch, easy to setup and find necessary functions. Camera is great along with app function and customising. I also opted for Samsung over Oppo as more parts, covers and screen protectors are far more readily available in NZ, Oppo is unfortunately limited. I have only dropped one star for this phone as the facial recognition can be slightly unreliable and although the battery can last 24 hours, I would love for a bit more performance from it. I recently purchased this phone and I'm so happy I did. It's light and robust, has excellent loaded apps with some human interest angles. I've been looking for a latest and yet affordable phone for a while now and this is it. If you're looking for an affordable phone that can do almost everything that an expensive phone can, then this would be the best pick. Great colorways too. Best phone camera I've used so far too. All seems to be in working order and running well. Nice midrange phone, should serve well hopefully. Really love the phone. Lots to learn about phone usage and features. Pictures from phone are excellent - am on holiday at moment and colour and detail of photos is amazing. Only thing that had issue with size and edge of phone which I found little heavy for me and awkward to hold but have silicone cover on now and has made phone easier to grip.
