Happy with my Samsung A55. Wished I could have got it in Icy Blue colour when the sale was on, but it was out of stock.

Only comment is that it would have been nice to know that a charging cable came with the phone - I purchased a wall charger and cable at PB Tech's website suggestion, but when it arrived realised there was a cable in the box with the phone. Would be good to update the product description so other people know that there is a cable.

This is def a good phone for majority of the population that need a device that:
- has battery that lasts
- takes good photos
-has a decent amount of storage
-performs like high end device for daily tasks like playing music, scrolling social media sites and playing videos (120hz)
-metal case and new shape makes it feel more high end
- easy to transfer old phone data and duplicate set up regardless if android, apple or another Samsung

Not great if you are looking:
- to game and use for high end applications
- variety of colour choices
- AI module and great bio-metrics

While the page says to Please check compatibility of related products before purchasing. There was no indication that any USB-C to 3.5mm adapters would not work with this phone unless they have DAC. As the phone does not have a Digital to Analogue Converter built in.

When purchasing adapters for this device you will need to pay extra for ones with DAC or they will not work at all. I was caught wasting money buying multiple because I thought I bought a dud one. I had been debating between the s23fe (releases October 2023) and the a55. There were some additional features included in the s23fe, but overall it seemed like the a55 would best suit my need, with 4 years of software updates and security packages.

Replaced an aging A51 with this. My experience after a month is:

Typical excellent PBTech service
Great battery life (this is a real bonus compared to the A51)
Pretty good screen
Lots of storage
Mediocre processing speed (but this is a mid range phone)
Sound is pretty good

What disappoints is the poor wifi - I no longer have reliable connectivity further away from the router (even after all the trouble shooting tips)
But did I mention that it has great battery life?

(and yes, I did buy a screen protector, case and adaptor) Replaced an aging A51 with this. My experience after a month is:

Runs really fast, good camera. Loving the new shape compared to my old A54. Definitely good value for all of its features in comparison to other brands/models at a much higher price point! Great budget option compared to the standard s24. Goes great. Pretty much the same screen and has expandable storage. Only downside is the Camara which still great especially for the price. I needed a new phone with a decent amount of memory and with a feature of an additional data card. After doing my research, I chose this model with its metal case. While it is slightly heavier than a plastic model, it is quick and responsive. It was really easy to transfer my data from my old phone - especially since I am older and not familiar with these things. It is powerful enough to run my rova app (where my previous phone would overheat). The night camera is awesome. I am still getting through the tips section.

The beauty of this phone is that you can purchase a cover (to hold your cards) which is magnetic... it is so easy to remove the case for use in the car mobile phone holder. The price was easily $100 less than other suppliers. Thanks PB tech! It arrived quicker than mentioned and was easy to pick up with click and collect.
