The packaging clearly shows Mouse and cable and document icons only. The regular version of this mouse is Mac compatible but not advertised as iPad compatible and it does come with a usb receiver, the packaging shows mouse cable and usb and document icons. Had to go back to another store and buy a receiver which ok, not expensive. I was dubious but this mouse pairs really well with my Macbook Air M1. The gesture support is a little clunky to use with the left hand low button, but other than that smooth scroll and very handy alternate buttons for stuff like forward and back on browser pages.

I love this mouse. It has a solid feel, heavier than I am used to, but light to use. The hand position is natural and great, and it is able to be used for a long time with out fatigue. Recommend this as an upgrade for your mac. Something to note - it doesn't come with the USB, so if your looking to switch this over to PC as a "backup" its not possible without onboard bluetooth. The MX Master 3 for Mac connected with my M1 MacBook Air with no issues whatsoever. It is comfortable to use and functioned immediately with left & right mouse clicks plus the centre scroll wheel, with no configuration required. Functionality is further enhanced with three additional mouse buttons and and a thumb scroll wheel.

This is a huge upgrade from the previous generation MX Master 2s and I would highly recommend it. The scroll wheel is now magnetic and feels infinitely better and, in my opinion, the design is nicer than the last generation. One thing to note however, the Mac version of this mouse does not come with the usb receiver, so if you don't want to use bluetooth you'll have to get that separately. Best decision I’ve made switching to the new mouse - had been struggling with a basic mouse for too long - works flawlessly in MacOS and loving the xtra buttons and scroll feature.
