Firstly, this headset is rather comfortable. I don't have much experience with other headsets, but I do remember from my short time with the original vive, that it was rather bulky and would hurt the back of your head if you wore it for more than 15 mins. This is much lighter, and can honestly make you forget you're even wearing it. The audio is great, not quite up to the quality of the Valve Index but it's close. It does have a built-in microphone but it sounds like a microphone you'd get out of a cereal box so i'd recommend connecting an external microphone if you want to communicate while wearing it. Speaking of cameras, the headset still has numerous cameras around the faceplate but i've been unable to find a use for them. All in all, this is cheaper than the Vive Pro, yet just as good. Set-up is was actually easier than i thought, wall mounts for base stations are primo( make sure you line them up with ya studs in the wall).
I find myself needing more space as i move around a lot even with a space of over 3mx3m.

At first i wasn't use to having a cord still being attached to the head set got rather annoying to a point but after some fine tuning you start to not notice, i also have the option of having the cord above on the ceiling VERY handy.

ill probably end up getting the index knuckles at some point as its more orientated to my play style.

luckily having a beefy PC everything runs as smooth as you'd like.

id give an over all 4.5/5 stars personally, you won't go wrong with this bad boi vive and yes comfy as well!!

Used the vive pro which was a good experience.so lead me to purchase the Cosmo
First unit didn't work and had to be sent back. PB replace it no worries second unit was all good

Setup was easy however the head set felt very uncomfortable and heavy.
The speakers never seem to stay in the correct position... Field of view seems to alot smaller than the pro . Controllers seem fine.

I bought this as an upgrade from the Oculus Rift S that was compatible with full-body tracking and overall I'm a bit disappointed by the product. The screen clarity is better than the Rift S but the comfort and weight of the headset is noticeably worse. The controllers are also terrible so I'm going to have to spend another $600+ getting valve index controllers imported from the USA.

I had some major issues with the base station firmware update getting an error, resulting in one of them not turning on at all until I went through the lengthy process of fixing it by reading reddit threads about the problem.

As a Nerdy Vr Person I'll be suggesting this Vr headset since the normal cosmos itself doesn't do the job well since the tracking system itself is worse, the elite cosmos other version does the job more a lot better, It's comfortable, less heavy on the normal cosmos, Better Tracking, Mic itself is horrible, I'd be suggesting your own microphone since the built of itself sounds like a call center, I hope HTC Vive rework on the Mic itself on the future, The headphones itself is not doing a well job itself it keeps sticking up even you stick it down on your ears, I'm giving it a 5/5 rating

I'll be suggesting you to use AMD RX 7900 XT, RTX 4070 TI Or Super, RX 7600 For better Experience Vr gaming.

I have had a pro still works awesome purchased the cosmos elite thinking it might be an improvement, got that totally wrong. the head phones don't stay in place the software is bad will not run properly in steam vr, i have tried it on the three vr compatible pc's it only work's once on them and then the motion smoothing magically becomes in compatible and it's like trying to play a multiplayer game with a lag of 3 million, what is HTC thinking when they made this product. This was my first VR and I have found it quite enjoyable. The Kids also enjoy there VR experiences.

Took a day but overall was actually pretty simple and straight forward to set up. good quality and good fun. I highly suggest having a strong computer to make sure things run nicely but so long as you have the recommended requirements its still a great VR Headset to have. My first VR experience, I love it and very happy with VR and the quality of product but the price point just aint there. Just buy a Quest 2 instead :) (if it's your first VR headset)
