HTC VIVE XR Elite All in One VR Headset

Wireless - Meant to use a 6e router but we use a5g router and its perfect. No stutter or anything.
No God Rays - Out with the fresnel and in with the pancake lens.
LED - No insignificant screen door effect. Sure if you look for it there, but its a non issue.... its really is
Can have titles loaded direct to the headset (not that there's many yet)
Rechargeable - Yes it does last 2hrs of constant use.
I bought a Belkin BoostCharge Pro 4-Port GaN USB-C Charger 30watt charger (Now chargers empty to full in under an hour)
Bit of a bugger that cant buy a Vive Streaming cable in NZ (not that you actually need one)

Overall
I was a dubious about the frame rate of 90fps. How wrong I was. The visuals are smooth, vivid just outstandly better.
Only real downside is the wife uses it for fitness (beat sabre and some others) at prime time and I can get to use it. But as the saying goes 'Happy wife, Happy life'

Start using it then realise your wifi isnt good enough so you then need the cable....PBtec dont stock it, and you cant buy it from the US. So you settle for a generic cable. Then realise you need ceiling holders for the cable as its too heavy. Then you look for the wireless pack...keep looking. You buy the Vive trackers to realise they plug into the same USB on the headset you just plugged your cable into....
So for the huge price you left having to scramble for so many after sale items you left wondering if you should of just bought the $500 model that comes with everything youll ever need....

This is the lightest and most comfortable standalone VR headset Ive tried (previously owned the Index, Original Vive, Cosmos Elite, Quest 1, psvr2). Balance is great, but the default face interface tickles the outside edges of my eyes. So I prefer using the MR face interface thats part of the Deluxe Pack.

Standalone game store doesn't have many titles (vs Meta), but wireless PC gaming works fine and is my main use case. The modularity and lightness of this heads makes it great for dev work as well. This is the lightest and most comfortable standalone VR headset Ive tried (previously owned the Index, Original Vive, Cosmos Elite, Quest 1, psvr2). Although a VR rookie myself trying it out for the first time it doesn't disappoint as it was relatively comfortable to wear and the visual graphics when using it are good. The sound it produces from the software it is running allows easy immersion into whichever VR program you find yourself playing. That being said while the adjustments to the headset were easy to use it can sometimes be a bother to readjust them every time I have to take it off and put it back on again. In addition to the face cushion of the headset being capable of falling off easily whenever I take off the headset and having to put it back on.
