I bought two of these to cover my house, but in the end I only needed one. Most of the 4-bedroom 150sqm house now has 200-300Mbps off one of these.

This was advertised with wifi extension properties. When properly calibrated and set up in Range Extender Mode (which was tedious to do because the user interface is cheaply made and poor), the range was not improved at all. Works perfect. We are using it as an Access Point. Gigabit ethernet going into it from the main router on the other side of the house, and then this broadcasting wifi to this side of the house.

We live in a tiny house connected to the main broadband via 100m cable to the main house router. This setup is precisely what we required. After a simple plug-in and basic setup, we were up and running. The range is impressive, and it features smart dual-band technology, automatically connecting to the fastest band.

As rural residents, we contend with slow internet speeds, but we're pleased to report around 14mb/s within the house and a mere 11mb/s drop off at the access point, so not much of a drop-off! Out of the box, plug in a Cat 6 from my external router and immediate good wifi all round. Easy to get in to the web interface to set name and password, just what I wanted.
