I guess I should have read it more carefully. It works fine, but it does not power the laptop from the connector. I guess I should have gone with my gut and bought a Dell or HP...a bit disappointed, no one wants to connect a doc AND a power cable, defeats the purpose! The M1 Macs from 2020 don't have native dual monitor support which is really dumb. You can use this and download a Displaylink driver to get around that with ease. Really happy to be able to plug my mac into two screens, and works seamlessly. Enough ports for everything else you'd need. I purchased this to replace a USB-C dock which drove me mad - full-screen video constantly put it in a low-power state and turned my monitors off! This dock has a USB-A option which can be excluded from power management, and keeps everything running as expected. Nice compact unit on the desk and plenty of USB ports for my home office peripherals making this a really easy home hot-desk for the household. The inability for power pass-through is a drawback, but the only one I have encountered with this dock. Definitely worth a buy. It does everything I wanted, runs two additional screens, and has enough ports for my wireless keyboard and mouse.

Most of it is great, but I have one problem. I'm using a Macbook Pro M1. I'm using two screens, which is/was working fine. Using 1 HDMI to HDMI and 1 HDMI to USB-C plugged into the laptop. I was wanting to free up the USB-C port, but I can not get either of the screens working plugging them into the docks HDMI ports.

Works really well, easy to set up. Nice and compact. I'm using it with my 2022, M2, Macbook Pro. I like that it's non-powered, then I don't feel like I'm toasting the battery by keeping it plugged into power the entire time that I'm using my screens. Works really well, easy to set up.
