Works for both my Mac Mini M4 and PC

Good value Thunderbolt 4 dock, with plenty of ports. I bought this so I could switch between my Mac mini M4 and my ROG Laptop using the same dual screens and mouse/keyboard.

Note that to have two screens on the Mac mini, one connection must be HDMI and the other must be from the Thunderbolt Port. Using two HDMI connections only duplicates the screens. This means using a USB C/Thunderbolt to HDMI adaptor or a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable.

On PC, having 2 HDMI for dual connection works perfectly.

Decent

Given the other options for sale from PBTech in this price bracket, this is very decent. There are way better docks out there with more features and better value; however, they are challenging to obtain in NZ, mainly because of the voltage difference, leaving the options slim pickings for us.

Unusually poor product from Belkin

Normally, Belkin products are awesome; however, this dock is terrible. The power connector will not stay plugged in, if the dock moves even slightly, the cord would drop out. I was also not able to get the dual extended monitor to work regularly with my mac mini m4 or my work MacBook.

Didn't allow connecting two monitors to a Mac Book Air M4

I was told that this dock should work with two HDMI monitors when connected to a Mac Book Air M4 - however when plugging it in, the two external monitors just mirrored each other - so it wasn't any use to me and I returned it.

Otherwise it looks like a nice Dock.

Returns & Warranty

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed and unopened, with packaging in original condition, accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange. A 20% restocking fee may be applied where goods are not returned in sealed, original packaging condition.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase. Items purchased on finance cannot be exchanged for a gift card.

 

Hassle free warranty service

If your product develops a fault within the manufacturer warranty period, you can either contact the manufacturer directly (some manufacturers provide a high level of warranty service - including free pickup or in some cases onsite repair), or return to one of our services centres / stores. Where the product has been directly imported by PB Tech, you need to contact us directly or present the product at any one of our service centres / stores together with your proof of purchase.

If your product develops a fault outside of the manufacturer warranty or PB Tech warranty period, we offer a full repair service and are an authorised repair agent for leading brands such as Samsung, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo and more.
