I bought this after an in store recommendation to send video to 2x 4K screens from a Intel Mac. This unit uses the MST protocol which is not supported by MacOS (On intel, maybe works on M1) so the result is screen mirroring only, not desktop extension. This is not clear on the outside of the box, but is clear on the instructions inside. Fortunately PB tech returned this without hesitation and I replaced with 2x Thunderbolt to HDMI cables which work well. Excellent product. Nice and compact. Solid construction. Very easy to use.
