From my laptop's spec: (a Lenovo Thinkpad V15 G2 ITL)
"USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (data transfer only)"
Pay attention to the bracketed text "data transfer only" -- this indicates that it does not implement the 'Alternate Mode' of USB-C, and thus can't do things like HDMI
If you laptop specifications say something like 'full support' or 'powerdelivery and displayport' or 'pd / dp' then you should be safe, although don't my word for it.

Expanded my digital toolkit
I was initially very skeptical that this dock would do the job, and it did take a little bit of fiddling to get everything working right. Well worth it to be able to expand my laptop so I can use my second monitor through the dock, and my drawing tablet plugged straight into the graphics card.

It's okay
It's alright, works well, however it only has 1 USB c port which is only for power input.
Which is an inconvenience if you are needing to use USB c and you laptop or phone only has 1 USB C port

Great purchase for price
Great solution for two HDMI 27” screens and USB-C power in laptop. I also have key board and mouse in USB3.2 ports. Screen resolution is good and adequate for most office purposes including large spreadsheets. Very happy with price and product.
Overheating issue
I have had the docking station for about two weeks before noticing that it has been getting quite hot and it actually closed down on two occasions and the unit was very hot to touch. I am now turning my computer off when I'm not using it to see if this helps but it's still getting quite hot to touch and I may have to return it. Otherwise, it works fine.
Impressed with the ease of use
Excellent value for money product. I was anxious about getting a product which would meet my needs. This was delivered in good time, and it was plug and play. Perfect.
Does the job perfectly
I use a screen shared between two laptops at home (one for work, one personal). Easy to setup and switches effortlessly with one click between laptops
