Bought it for my architecture course. Owned it for 2 weeks now and I love it!
Pros:
- The 9th gen processor combined with the 2060 allows me to render my models quickly.
- Fans are quiet when regular use and only turns on when rendering. During gaming, fans dont get crazy loud as even my non noise cancelling headphones blocks out the noise so this is what im really impressed with considering it's such a thing laptop.
- Thin bezels is such a nice touch! gives it a professional look
- Love the colour scheme!
- SOOO lightweight! I have a shoulder bag for it and I can barely feel the weight unlike my previous Acer Laptops!

- The screen panel is so clear! However, isnt as anti glare as I wouldve liked

Cons:
- The chasis is a fingerprint magnet. Which is expected from a smooth metal chasis. But its considerably not that bad comparing with a previous MSI laptop I had.
- After two hours of gaming, I do notice that the top part of the chasis right next to the ESC button starts to heat up. But i dont tend to game more than two hours anyways.
- No keypad. Not a deal breaker but definitely could've had the same design as the helios 300.
- Predator sense button is right next to the backspace which is noticeably smaller than other keyboards. Ive accidentally tapped it numerous times already which can be quiet annoying. Actually tapped it while typing this review. But will definitely get use to it so again, not a massive deal breaker.
- Storage! It says 512gb but when I checked, its only 476gb and thats not including the system reserve memory which says it takes 38gb so really, you start off with 438gb.

Thats about as much as I can say about this amazing laptop! Hope this helps

I've been playing Anno 1800 great game on a small screen, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Breakpoint, almost as good as my desktop version & the speakers are decent enough. Slimmer than what I had thought at first.
Performance was good.
Was able use the highest setting and thermals was on the good average 75-90 degrees.

Only thing I found wierd was the predator software which you can use to control fan and performance seems to heat up the machine if it's has an open window.

Been using this laptop for weeks now. Its thin and light, has good battery life of about 5 hours of productivity, and a powerful Nvidia RTX2060 graphics card. When under load like gaming or design work, it does get loud from the fans but its not high pitched sound that annoys you so a good gaming headphone should fix this real quick. Still not something to use on a library when under load though. good screen brightness, great keyboard although not per key RGB, the screen is a bit flimsy but that's just because its thin. I was initially doubtful about an Acer laptop but the Predator range is just a superb laptop that is light and thin for a gaming laptop. Does not get too hot at running AAA games but the fan noise does get louder. It's the next step down from Razer 15 I feel. I have had the acer predator triton 500 RTX2060 for 5 weeks now. Fascistic laptop. Can not fault it. Some reviews say it makes noise but I have not noticed that. It is amazingly quick. Graphic are the best I have seen. It is light and well made. Screen has a little flex when closing by one corned so I close it by both top corners or from the top mid.
