We bought this for our child starting high school. They've been using it for over 6 months.
Now due to Covid 19 we have been home schooling for 3 weeks and logging online to classes. Been fab!
Great that you have rubber all around if they drop it. Great grip on it and can use it like an iPad if you wish and has 2 cameras.

I am a software developer and I must say this laptop is a lot better then expected. It's small size allows the best experience well travelling. And one of the biggest surprises was chrome OS, which I thought was going to be average but with the new support of Linux I haven't found something that I can't do on it. Finally the pen and touch support is amazing, it's amazing for taking notes and quickly noting something down. As well as having everything you do in digital form its a no brainier.
The only real con I can think of is the lack of power, this isn't horrible, it can still multi-task very well. However considering the price I think I...view more

Pros - This Asus Chromebook is exactly what I was looking for. It has all the benefits of a regular Chromebook which I already loved with the added bonus of being touchscreen and with the 360-degree flip hinge it becomes a tablet too, I can download my favorite Android apps and games. We were a little sceptical as to whether this chromebook would be useful for our 10 year olds school work but has turned out to be excellent. Really easy to use and adaptive for many uses. Excited to use this to do his homework etc.Only negative is the small screen size. Great buying.

I was looking for a decent chromebook, with 4GB RAM and stylus included, for my children. Got added features such as 360-degree hinge and anti-slip skin. At first, I thought I couldn't cast to Google Chrome, but then I found out that it was Guest login. Once I login using my gmail account, casting works perfectly :)
Could not be happier with this purchase. Very nice product and easy use since it can act as either a laptop or a tablet depending on what you are doing. Seems really good quailty.
