The ASUS D509 is equipped with a reversible USB-C 3.1 port that makes connecting devices much easier and offers transfers up to 10 times faster than previous USB 2.0 connections. It also has USB 3.1 and 2.0 ports, HDMI and a micro-SD card reader so you can connect all your peripherals, monitors and projectors without any problem.
The ASUS D509 carries a battery that lasts up to 3 times longer than standard lithium-ion batteries. ASUS Fast Charge technology allows you to charge 60 percent capacity in just 49 minutes.
ASUS D509 features EAR HDD cushioning to protect your data from shock. The reinforced chassis enhances writing and lets you open and close the lid with one smooth movement.
The metal stand under the keyboard provides more stability when typing and using the touchpad. In addition to enhancing structural rigidity, it also strengthens the hinge joint and protects internal components.
The cover has reinforcements on the sides similar to the side guards of cars. These stiffeners provide structural support to the lid, panel, and hinge joint.
