I specifically wanted a 15inch laptop that is physically the size of a 14 inch and that is what I got.
For a 15.6" laptop this HP has a good balance of aesthetic, performance, weight and features. The Ryzen 7 Processor weighs' up very competitively with the Intel i7 and event the newer Ryzen 9. With USB C, 2 X USB 3.0, HDMI port and SD dock, this laptop has all the features you need and none of the nonsense you don't.
For a laptop of this size, audio performance is incredible.
I bought my HP Envy from PB Tech around the same time as you, just after lockdown. People all over the world had the same buzzing sound and freezing up issue in Zoom, but if you do your updates, it is fixed! It was frustrating for 6 months but is now fixed and a great little touchscreen computer.

It is bit heavy compared to other slim laptops but still serves its purpose - big screen, ram, cpu, etc
