I bought this laptop to replace by old HP laptop, which was literally falling apart. I'd been very happy with my previous HP laptops and this is my third one.

I find it very clunky to use. The touchpad isn't sensitive enough, even when it's ramped up to the most sensitive. It's ok to use for web surfing and typing documents, but it's useless for playing even the simplest games. Right-clicking is unreliable and fairly hit and miss.
It could be a win 11 issue, but it seems to ignore settings and preferences. It also gets very hot, even when performing simple tasks.

Bought this for my wife to replace an ageing Samsung machine. Apart from all the bother to get past Microsoft's efforts to lock us into their ecosystem - which is not down to the computer, but Win11 - it was a breeze to set up and get running. Since she's not using it as a fps games machine, it's lightening fast at the jobs it's given. The 15" screen is definitely an advantage when editing photos. Keyboard is good, and a cordless mouse has replaced the touchpad which is not so easy for us eldery folk to use. Very happy with the purchase. This is by no means a top of the line laptop, but it's excellent for the price. I needed a new laptop chiefly for office work, and my chief concern was speed, which it has in spades. Battery life is not bad for the price - overall, I'm very happy with my purchase so far. 3 weeks of good service and counting. Perfect for my home use - emails, web searches etc. Quick and easy to install (I was a novice). Got it on sale so a very good buy. Very pleased with this product and its functionality. Good Speed thought it would lag but pretty good.
Only one downfall Windows products does not automatically have MS products loaded (word,excel etc)
It should include MS products for free specially for the price of the laptops for students.
Buying a separate MS product is more of a money-making racket. Purchased this laptop to replace my old work laptop and it is an excellent device.
