Lenovo V15 IGL 15.6" HD Laptop

I bought this to replace my old Lenovo V 110 which, over the years, has become extremely slow. I only use it to stream, download, surf the net and store photos. The price, memory size and the fact it's a Lenovo were the deciding factors in choosing this particular laptop.
It works very much like the old one but faster. Streaming is not a problem anymore, opening apps is nice and quick and I could upgrade to windows 11. Switching between tabs on firefox doesn't slow down the loading of other tabs and youtube does not stall anymore.

The speaker is a little better than the old one, so when using things where sound quality is not important they work fine. I use a Bluetooth speaker when watching anything that requires decent sound and has not had trouble with the connection or quality. Even my Bluetooth mouse works flawlessly.

This laptop is excellent for the price, it's not designed for high speed online gaming but it does exactly as advertised, it's a good all round everyday laptop for web browsing, streaming, study etc. Highly recommend. Bought this for my wife on sale (500Gb SSD was actually cheaper than same unit with 256GB) and she loves it. Similar price to a Chromebook but a fully fledged laptop with Windows Home, so perfect for her needs (supporting Office and OneDrive). Holds charge well, reasonably responsive for CPU and RAM. I normally buy high spec laptops, but moving into retirement you sometimes have to cut your cloth according to what you think is appropriate to spend. In this case, i have gone for a cheap and low spec machine which is quick and nibble to use and well worth the money for PB Tech. My kids love their Lenovo Laptops. It handles all the tasks that their school requires. The speed, longevity of each battery charge cycle is phenomenal not to mention the rigid design.
