When my previous cable failed (after years of service) it shorted and dramatically tripped my surge protector. My online order of this replacement was promptly sorted, and I could pick it up straight away. I was happy to be able to get the specific product I needed (and new, and locally!) despite my Dell gaming laptop being an older machine now.
The blue LED light is quite bright. Some users might want to tape over it if that's obtrusive. This is the most common, readily available charger for my laptop. Decent price but my only gripe is its ability to just fray and break. This is 4th one I've been through in 3 years.
