Dunno why people saying 5Ghz doesn't work it worked for me in windows 10 shrug
if you want the best results from 5ghz you have to be fairly close to the router 2.4Ghz has better range thats how it is, I have tried a number of ac1200 wireless cards and find this one to be perfectly adequate.
Couldn't connect to my 5GHz network. Apparently a problem with the driver. Avoid.
This product does not work with Windows 10. D-Link does not provide up to date drivers and as a result a stable connection is not possible on 5Ghz and barely able to keep stable on 2Ghz. Do not recommend this product.
Plugged it in, it picked up the adapter immediately and it worked straight away (apart from a diver update)...... the only thing easier would be a USB nano but this has loads of range!

Yes its 'cheap', but the drivers simply don't do the job properly. Had to get most recent ones off D-links site, reinstal, re-reinstal, remove hardware, reinstall, install hardware. then much around with settings, 802.11 a/n only works for me, might be some issue with how it tries to switch between 2.5 and 5 GHz networks, unsure, but out of the box almost guaranteed to drop your internet and have issues. Nothing overtly wrong with the signal, but also has its weak patches, so nothing special either.
Have read on online forums that its just a realtek chip with a sticker slapped on on others just install those drivers to get more consistent ...view more
Choose another wifi adapter!!! This keeps disconnecting with my google wifi for some reason running on win10 . Will get a full refund for it.
Drivers don't work. Had to hunt for working drivers.
As others have said, the drivers on the disk don't work on a windows 10 machine. Frequent disconnects, failure to reconnect, fluctuating ping. After a quick hunt around the internet (on my phone) I found some drivers that do work and now it's going well.
Can't recommend based on that it's not usable without third party help.
Had to get it replaced
Came installed in a GGPC custom prebuilt desktop but did not work consistently with Windows 10 Home x64. Got it replaced for a Gigabyte GC-WB1733D-I which works perfectly (the same as my other PC).

I believe theres a compatibility issue, it disconnects quite often.
Works well whilst it's working, but the connection drops every few minutes on windows 10. I'll need to return it as it's unusable for gaming as the signal drops every minute or so. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers with no success.
Poor product and does not connect to internet (Windows 7)
Don't wast time on this product! It is cheaper but no good.
I bought it several days ago and experienced a nightmare on trying to make it work. The original one was diagnosed as faulty wireless adapter by Windows 7 diagnose tool and then I was given a new replacement.
The replaced one connects to router on both 2.4G and 5G. And the good thing is both 2.4GHz and 5GHz have highest signal level which means good coverage. The bad thing is it only gave internet access for less than a minute and it became "no internet connection". Staff at Hamilton store recomended this to me. Barely works, disconnects constantly and will have to install drivers after every crash. Dont buy this product.

7 day right of exchange
If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.
To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.
If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
Please note, items purchased on finance cannot be exchanged for a gift card.
