Good, simple Ethernet, doesn't just have to be from device to router, works equally as well as running a long gigabit cable. Simple setup & great that you get the outlet pass-through because it can easily block another outlet next to it. Overall fantastic value for money & would definitely get another if need be. This is the second pair of these power line ethernet adapters I've bought. They happen to be the same model as the ones I bought previously but they mean we now have effectively wired ethernet in a couple of upstairs areas where Wi-Fi is a stretch. Definitely follow the advice in the installation directions to plug the units directly into the wall rather than into a powerboard. Once I had it set up, I saw my speed go up from 20Mbps to 200Mbps. While this won't ever compete with a true wired LAN connection, its definitely much cheaper. I'd used similar products in the past to work around cabling restrictions in my parents house, and the experience left me with little faith. But hey, I thought, technology is always improving, and that was well over a decade ago. Time to give it another shot. Well, I'm really glad I did. These things are flawless. I've been using them for around three weeks now and my network monitoring says they haven't dropped a single packet. Obviously the 1Gbps is marketing fiction, as they tend to max out at around 650-700Mbps, but that's plenty for my needs.

Got these powerline adapters, plugged them in to the router switch and a separate cabin 50m away connected via extension cords and multiboards (so it was on the same circuit).

Did not work at first, but after replacing the old multiboards (that had network plugs) with simple multiboards, managed to get ethernet down to the cabin (probably 70m+ of cable).

Plugged the ethernet from the adapter into a wifi extender that had AccessPoint mode and got full speed wifi in the cabin 50m away from the router.

Good latency too, really seems to be the same wifi speed as being plugged into the main router directly.

The delivery was fast. It arrived on the next business day. The DHP-P601 Powerline units worked flawlessly out of the box - not setup required at all. I didn't expect much from this considering I'm on opposite ends of the entire house and my home is an old villa but it works incredibly well!! 30ms rock solid ping, and 150mpbs down which is how much my internet plan is capped at anyway. I'll never have to lay down another 15 meter long ethernet cable in my life. well worth the purchase. I plugged it all in and I think it made a tangible difference to my connection speeds.
However I could no longer print, despite double checking that my laptop and printer continued to both be on the same network. So after about a week when I needed to print, I had to disconnect it and haven't had the time to research why & how to resolve.
