After moving to a new property i found my office was just on the range limits of my wifi. These extenders did what they said and enabled me to have a full speed connection back to the router. The powerline kit really makes networking through a property a lot simpler. The plug and play is a little less straightforward than expected and they can be a bit touchy if the power is interrupted. These devices are fantastic where you want a hardwired LAN connection (say to your laptop or set-top-box on your smart TV etc) in a location of your property where WIFI just doesn't reach. We have a sleep out on the property and this is absolutely perfect! Plug one unit into the back of the router. Plug the other in at the sleepout (need to plug into the mains power point at either end and it uses the mains wire to provide the LAN connection. Like a CAT5E cable), and then simply connect to the computer with the provided cable.
