TP-Link TL-WN821N (N300) WiFi 4 USB Wireless Adapter

I build about 15 computers a year and I die by this adapter. I have tried 4+ others ones (even ones that range up to $100) and this one manages to fetch me the highest download speed with the lowest ping with no drops in connection.

I have been using for a few weeks now. It was really easy to set up on my Linux system and connects fast every time. It reaches through concrete walls and downstairs. Good value. Works but it always disconnects randomly, even when it does work it’s pretty bad 🤷 TP Link isn’t great, buy any other wifi adapter and you’ll be good. I actually didn’t realise it was only a 2.4Ghz product.
But solved my wife issues and looks quite good to. Great product. Easy enough to install.

bought this, yes it was plug and play but received terrible pings which fluctuated lots, downloading and watching movies were fine on some days and some days required a restart.
wasted lots of time trying to get it working properly.

It's a product that runs at a download speed 10-12mb per second(my wifi is not the problem with the download speed, on my Xbox series s I get an average download speed of 190mb per second. I'll also note that, that's the speed when theirs another series s, PS4, multiple laptops and a tv running Netflix at 4k res. The highest speed I've had when I was home alone was 560mb per second)

It can run movies and series in 1040p (I haven't tried any higher then that) for it's price it gives you a decent download speed, ping that sits around 50-60 and it's more then enough for gaming. The only downside is how slow the download speed is.

It's an easy to set up wifi adapter with simple instructions anyone could follow, and overall it's a good product for it's price but if you want better download speed and lower ping you'd definitely want something else. I do not know of any products that are better since I haven't researched it at all and while writing this review it's from the top of my head

Plug and play. Really easy to set up. However I couldn't get the download speeds in steam to even surpass 4mbps. At most it's 1mbps or under. Theoretically speaking it should be getting a max of 30mbps with fibre but I was expecting atleast 10mbps. Plug and play. Really easy to set up. I bought this for my computer after the ethernet port broke after tripping over it so many times. Very easy to set up if you have a cd drive, and so far speeds and connectivity has been flawless.
