Great machine. Range and strength definite heaps better than my old set up. I used to use a linksys ac1900 router plus a netgear mesh nighthawk X6 (ex7700) to cover my 7 bedroom and double story house. Now just one ax11000 it covers all and signal is not bad!!!

But currently I do experience my 5g bands drop ( won’t allow me to join even though passwords correct). The issue still in progress as I got in touch with tp link service team. Reviews are great but IFTTT support ended in 31 July 2020. Only Alexa support works.
Was looking to put in a switch plus access points to run cat6 cable to a couple of locations around the house with my existing router which only had 4 ports and wifi wasn't good enough and found this instead.
With much better wifi coverage and 8 ports I no longer needed the extra components just this does it at a smaller price.
Usually when it comes to routers I've had more luck installing custom firmwares as the base firmware never performs as well as stated; however, this router increased wifi stability and speeds by 3-5 times (that being said this is due to the sheer amount of wifi connections in our household). I would give it 5/5 but it's kind of an eyesore.
