A great purchase for the price.
Great deal for the price. Very easy to setup up with the app and web interface. Does not boast fast speeds or anything but a great little device if you need to set up wifi access or extend your network. Always found TP-link production to be easy to use.
Exactly what we needed for terminating a Wi-Fi bridge.
I had to set up a Wi-Fi bridge for my daughter using a pair of Ubiquity LocoM2 devices and needed a simple Wi-Fi modem to link her phone, TV, and computer to the internet. This little router did the job giving a good coverage around her whole house. An excellent little device for the situation I had.
You get what you buy
It does the job as advertised. Easy setup. It doesn't have a 5GHz channel, but I knew that before buying it.
Great product, still going.
Great product if you wish to channel via dedicated VPN on 2.4Ghz, very reliable also as it hasn't dropped off for over a month unlike an unnamed top competitor.
Only downside is it does not support 5GHz band.

I use it as a BYO router for One NZ fibre. LAN cable is included in the box, it takes 15 minutes to set up, and that's it. Wi-Fi is stable and covers the expected areas, LAN connection works well, all necessary settings are there. No issues at all. I have not turned it off since I bought it, and it will be constantly working until I need to go above 100 Mbps.
Great for the price
I have purchased many of these routers to use with audio systems I install. They enable communication between the BSS digital audio processors and to enable wireless logon at the venue when re-programming. They work flawlessly for years!
Good wifi speeds. LAN ports, not so much.
Ethernet ports only support 100 Mbps, not 1000 Mbps, so LAN speeds are not great. But, wifi signal and speeds are fine. Easy setup.
You get what you pay for.
Although it says 300Mps on its box, you will not go beyond 54Mbps if connected via Wi-Fi.
It may work for specific environments, but dos not work in most cases.
