Misleading Info; cannot get 500mbps
Works well but only reaches 90mbps on speed test of fibre network capable of 650mbps on direct connection and wifi. As another review pointed out, the port is only 10/100
OK for under 100mb connections
It works well enough for the price but be aware the ethernet port on the device is limited to 10/100 speeds. The 500 mpbs claim is very misleading as it will never reach over 100 by design. Only buy for slower connections.
Works great but bad cable choice
I bought this product a few days ago and it boosted my network speed from 10mbs to 90mbs which is great! My broadband has a cap of 100Mbs and my house has old wiring so I wasn't expecting anything better. Although, for people who have a higher network speed cap and are wanting to get up to 500Mbs they will need to buy separate ethernet cables. This product only came with cat5 cables which have a speed cap of 100Mbs, it seems a bit weird to me that it didn't come with at least cat5e cables which can go up to 1000Mbs. Still a great product though, just one minor setback.
Don’t recommend
I just received this yesterday and I am not getting the 500Mbps stated. I have got some other Powerline adapters and I’m getting 1Gbps speed but I only got 50Mbps with this one. I even unplugged my other Powerline adapters to test and used the same plugs that they are in but I am still only getting a maximum of 50Mbps. I also tried different Ethernet cables and no luck. I am going to try and get this item refunded

It works well and was easy to setup. It outperformed the WiFi extender I had been using by 2x-3x. I am skeptical about the maximum claimed speed, 50-100Mbps is more realistic.

These are great, never had a problem with with them, strong signal even tho I'm 10 meters from the router.would recommended.
