The TP Link Archer comes highly recommended by customers for its swift and easy setup process. Suboptimal Performance
I cannot rule out factors outside the router's control that may have influenced its performance, but this was my experience with it.
At first when I bought this, according to the specifications and coverage listed, it seemed suitable for our three-bedroom house that is roughly 120m2, so not a big house. At first this router was performing well and had no problems with it, though I later learned it was not reaching the end bedroom of the house - possibly an issue due to the placement of the router as it was at one end of the house and the bedroom at the other end, but the website lists it as up to 150m2. We've had the TP-Link Archer Router for a month and have found it to be a very good product for the price. It has great coverage. The app is a handy addition too.
Decent purchase
Very good product, decent performance. The wireless doesn't quite cover my entire flat, but then perhaps I should have bought a different model. It does what it says and comes at a reasonable price.
Ideal
Good price for what it is. Tip for anyone buying this, make sure you setup using a web browser on a computer or tablet rather than the app or on a phone. When using the browser, ensure you select the default settings for New Zealand. I made the mistake of wasting hours trying to get it to work via the app (which is what the instruction manual had advised).
Works perfectly
Works perfectly with some good features I didn't expect.
Easy wifi and seems reliable
Cheap modem/router that works well. Relavtively easy to setup, though different web browsers use different numbers, 168.192.0.0 and 168.192.0.1.
Had to setup the default gateway ip address and didn't get details about why it couldn't connect at first (enable needed to connect the internet fibre connection). The microsoft computer troubleshooting didn't identify either and had to call internet company. If switching/upgrading modems, then go for it

TP-Link Archer AX1500 and delivery experience
The AX1500 met my expectations 100%. The review guidelines say not to mention the delivery, but OVERNIGHT to a Northland rural address was stellar !!
Great product!
Good product. Super easy to setup and configure for NZ broadband. And the accompanying app is great. Lots of features (that you can but don’t have to configure).
Only reason not to give max stars is as alway…..the price. It can always be cheaper.
