Just a heads up to those who are thinking of using these devices. They allocate a different subnet of IP addresses to connected WiFi devices (using their own DCHP service). The units work well but if you need to use your WiFi device to converse with a internal fixed IP address on your network it will not work. Example: I was not able to establish an Airplay stream to my fixed wired Amplifier from my mobile while using these mesh heads. There are a lot of requests for TP-Link to update the units software to turn off their DCHP, but two years later this feature has not been deployed. Was a little dubious about getting this, but some of the other reviews convinced me to give it a go, and I'm glad I did. Had tried range extenders in different rooms but it never made much difference.

We've been able to move the Playstation back to a bedroom instead of having it in the living room on ethernet cable, and have had multiple users on games, streaming services etc at the same time with no lag or buffering. If this is what you want for your house and you need something that is a breeze to set up (no network skills at all needed) then I fully recommend this product.

We recently joined Starlink, and while the speeds were good near the Starlink router, the range throughout the rest of the house was very poor. Adding this Mesh system was so easy. My internet speed has increased overall with the use of this, and after just placing one unit at the other end of the house I had full speed Wifi everywhere in a two storey 5 bedroom home. I was able to then take advantage of an ethernet port with the third unit. The app is pretty handy and easy to use too. I'm still waiting for the redemption offer, but I am so happy with the Deco X20 that I had pretty much forgotten about that bonus. we were having problems getting wifi coverage in whole house. I came in and asked what would be the best system to fix the issue and this mesh system has been working even out in the garden without any issues for about a month now

I have a two storey house with a hot water cylinder in the centre of the house downstairs, and I had problems with very weak Wi-Fi in the cylinders shadow, and also upstairs. I installed the three pack of mesh routers and once I had spent a little time finding the right places to site them, and did a bit of tuning, basically I now have strong Wi-Fi throughout the house. Problem solved, can't ask for anymore than that. Overall it was pretty easy to setup, I had a few false starts but overall I was happy and quite enjoyed setting it up actually. I stalled the routers about 6 weeks ago and have not had a problem with them. Recommended. Removed my Gen1 Starlink router.
Replaced with first Deco. Set up Deco.
Plug the others in around the house, now have excellent wifi coverage all over the house,

I originally had a standard router positioned in the middle of the home. It didn't do well at going through concrete walls though, Chromecast was constantly rebuffering. Moved into a new, not compatible for fibre, so had to down grade to slower internet. My home is split level with 3 floors plus an a granny flat attached to my home. This system is amazing, it’s like we have fibre again. I have a family of 10 under my roof so devices galore and everyone is happy. Was happy to pay the price to stop all the moaning about slow internet. Well worth it. Stylish look, goes well with any decor. I have used these with 2 diffenent providers, simple to set up and great for extending range, works well with starlink. The down side, I picked these as they had built in parental controls but when I set them, it makes anything that needs the internet unuseable or they just dont have any effect. ie trying to block specific websites just doesn't work.
