Bought, installed, cried. That is kind of how my experience was. Thankfully PB took it back and offered me at least some money back. But I will never touch TP Link again.

Pros of this product:
- It comes in an easy to carry box.
- The colour fits in any interior

Cons of this product:
- Does not deliver speed and is outperformed by a 3 year old Wifi 5 network
- The range is poor. Out performed by a single point router sitting at the corner of the house.

Great price, purchased in Black Friday sales. Got the required settings from the ISPs website and entered them and it works perfectly.
App is easy to use and lets you see currently connected devices and bandwidth use.

I have trouble with my home's wifi coverage for a long time. Finally decided to purchase a new router today. It is easy to install and configure. With my two stories house, even just the base unit upstairs in the study room can pretty much cover it all. There are some rooms downstairs have weak coverage, but as soon as I plug the second unit in, I've got full signal and full coverage throughout the whole house. I even have strong signal outside in the garden as well.

For Voyager customers, the setup wizard auto detects the connection type as Dynamic IP and this won't work. For Voyager customers, the setup wizard auto detects the connection type as Dynamic IP and this won't work. You have to finish the wizard, connect to the new wifi network, then go to Advanced -> IPv4 and change the type to PPPoE. This will then allow you entering user name and password. After that, you go back to Advanced, and tab IPTV/VLAN, and select Australia-LBN Network as your ISP Profile. This will set the VLAN ID to 10 and priority to 0. Once you've done all that, you will get Internet straight away.

Straight out of the box and the Tp-Link Deco is super easy to install, with the app giving a straight forward step-by-step approach. I notice immediately an improved signal throughout the house and property. Easy to install / setup. Did it once and forgot about it. It is stable and reliable for a month now. Cover old Villa with 5 bars is all rooms and outside in driveway. Only limit in speed over fiber is SPARK limiting / throttling to 100 mbps. No cons or regrets. Easy to install / setup. Did it once and forgot about it. It is stable and reliable for a month now. The pairing range between the two units is very good and particularly strong so they can be placed quite a way apart from each other.

Re speed, I don't know cause easily maxes out the entry level fibre I have. Most good routers I imagine would. The ping is very good.

The internet connection now also seems particularly stable it hasn't flaked once, my old fritz box use to drop out about once every 2 hours or so. A legit sleek looking long range alternative to the also beasty many aerials type big single unit routers.
