These are cheaper than hireing a trencher even having to buy 2. quick and easy to set up.

I acquired a pair to build a point to point bridge.
(1) Whilst key configuration steps are proprietary, proper documentation is non-existent: watch Ubiquity's videos or Google for the comments of people who have been through the same job to get to the information you'll need.
(2) These are outdoor units, and yet I wonder how the enclosures' plastic will resist. With the sluggishness of the GUI, this may explain why those APs can be priced so aggressively. I acquired a pair to build a point to point bridge.

We had a need to replace a failed fibre connection (a little over 100m) and while these units are over-specced for this distance, I had them up and running in 10 minutes (with the help of a youtube guide on configuration). Our automated gate is now configurable again and we are running happily with these (remember you need at least two!). Used this product to setup a bridge between two houses at line of site that are about 30m away.
Setup was easy to find on the net and it worked perfectly. I dialled the Signal right down due to the closeness of the points and was getting really good signal and download speeds.
Would recommend this to anyone setting up something similar. This point to point wifi extension set up works extremely will when combined with the TP-Link TL-WR841N Wi-Fi Router, Wireless-N300. It offers a cost effective way to get WiFi in a location far away from my main wifi Router. I did not have enough technical knowledge to do the set up because the instructions were design for someone who knows more about this sort of thing than me. I could have done it myself if the instructions were created in a more DIY language. This was 100% the way took 20 mins to setup 10 mins to install 5 mins to test.

Setup these to bridge between two buildings. Relatively straightforward to configure (if you read the instructions and check out the u-tube videos). Performs exceptionally well.
