I have been using it for two months now and it works exactly as intended. After much consultation with a staff member at the Henderson branch we figured out exactly what I needed. He was extremely helpful (helping with my many phone calls) and I even phoned the manager to tell him. It's obvious when someone knows what they are talking about (and not just reading off the box). If you can hard wire an access point in, it is worth the cost and is better than mesh or extenders. It is the same as being next to the modem. Before on 2G I was getting 7mbps download speed. You don't need to set up or download the extra app, you only need the basic one. But you do need to turn off the 2G setting, so the 5G is the only one that works (or you will get slow speeds).

After reading many reviews I decided to purchase this unit to extend my wifi coverage to the other wing of the house.

Connection, set up and configuration was breeze and the utility software is one of the more user friendly I have worked with....its also very informative.
