ASUS XG-C100C 10Gbps PCI-E Ethernet Adapter RJ45 x1

Initially simply did not work for file operations over 8 mb in Win 10 64bit and I even returned the first one I got. File copy performance was terrible and failed with network errors. Latest Asus drivers did not help but drivers directly from Aquantia (https://www.aquantia.com/support/driver-download/) for AQC107 seem to completely fix the problems.

Seems to work well now getting 400 Mbytes/sec (not bits) to Synology 1817 (peer to peer) with 9000 byte jumbo frames.

Asus drivers seem to be quite old Aquantia ones Apr 2017. Aquantia web site ones are Apr 2018. Save yourself a headache and make sure you flash the latest firmware from the Aquantia website after searching for the AQC107 chipset.

After checking the packaging to make sure it wasn't the v2 version of the XG-C100C and the site itself, it was in fact the v2 version, which is stated on the NIC itself. Pbtech needs to make this more clear as there is minimal or no driver support... XG-C100C v2. It does work at 10G, but I had a problem where the internet would disconnect now and then, even though the network remained connected. Apps etc would say they have no internet every now and then. Found online others with the same problem. I ended up upgrading the driver from the Marvell website, but that didnt do much over the Asus drivers from their website. Further digging suggested to change the Auto Negoatiate from Auto to 10G, so it was fixed at that, and also disable power saving, so I did both of those, and it has been solid since. **EDIT** Ended up RMA'ing the unit as it kept cutting off the connection and being generally unreliable, even with the above fixes in place. PBtech refunded the purchase. Looking for a new card now that is not using this chipset.

Easy to install. I purchased 2 and connected them via a 10G network switch. Backup speeds are so much faster. About 5X faster.
