Features

Install Windows 10 Home operating system from Microsoft on your notebook or desktop to enhance it with a hybrid Start Menu, Microsoft Edge web browser, and Cortana personal assistant. Without leaving the Windows desktop to access your apps, the hybrid Start Menu in Windows 10 Home looks similar to the menu in Windows 7 and combines it with the live tiles used in Windows 8's Start Screen. The Start Menu has been enlarged to include these tiles, which can let you view how many email messages you have, the current weather status, and more. In addition to the live tiles, you still have enough room on the Start Menu to pin your most frequently used apps and files. Built with the strengths of Windows 7 and Windows 8, Windows 10 Home combines the best features of both engines to remain compatible with nearly all your peripherals and the computer's internal components. Furthermore, it offers a similar design to the previous version of Windows, so you can easily start using Windows 10 Home right away.

Start Menu

Combining the strengths of Windows 8 and Windows 7, you get a familiar operating system with a hybrid Start Menu that contains your important content and frequently used programs. You can pin the apps and favorites so they're ready and waiting for you.

Microsoft Edge

The Microsoft Edge web browser lets you write or type notes directly on webpages and share them with others. In addition, it allows you to read online articles free of distractions as well as save your favorite websites.

Enhanced Viewing

Snap up to four apps in place so you can see all open tasks in a single view. You can even create virtual desktops when you need more space or want to group apps or things by project.

Windows Store

All your purchases made on every Windows 10 device can be viewed in the Windows Store. You can access apps, games, music, movies, and TV shows on your compatible computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Cortana

With your virtual digital personal assistant enabled, you can get instant access to key actions with Cortana. It learns over time to better help you accomplish your tasks by delivering reminders at the right time and place.

Multiple Ways to Interact with Your Computer

Besides using a keyboard and mouse, Windows 10 supports touch features so you can write, tap, and scroll through what you're doing.

Continuum

The Continuum feature allows you to easily switch from mouse and keyboard to touchscreen-and adjusts the OS to handle each scenario more efficiently. You simply plug or unplug your peripheral and choose your mode from a pop-up alert. When you only want touchscreen support, all apps go full screen and you can use gestures to navigate. When you go back to desktop mode with mouse and keyboard, apps revert to desktop windows and are more efficiently navigated with a keyboard and mouse. You can even attach a Windows 10 smartphone to an external monitor for a near-desktop experience.

Access Xbox One Content

With an optional Xbox Live Gold membership, you can stream and play a select number of games from your Xbox One directly on your Windows 10 PC. Other features include the ability to record gameplay and compete against console players on supported games.

Packed with Helpful Apps

Windows 10 Home comes with built-in apps like Maps, Photos, Mail & Calendar, Music, and Video. These apps use Microsoft OneDrive to back up your information and sync seamlessly across your Windows 10 devices, so you're never far from what you need.

Easy installation

11 October 2019
Nifty little USB and great packaging that ensures you won't lose or accidentally throw out your activation key.
Protip: If using in a desktop - store the USB and activation key inside your case, in case you need to reinstall after Hard drive failure.

It's original

24 August 2019
It's original, easy to use, not OEM and easy to install on desktop or laptop, though it can be cheaper as usually new PC comes with the OEM version where when someone need this means they're working on their older PC.

One of the most frustrating OSs yet

11 July 2019
Have used Windows 10 for years now, and wow is it a mixed bag of good and vary bad! GUI looks like it's designed for touch screens and for toddlers. It's inconsistent and lacks functionality in many areas. It has improved a lot over the years, but it's still a long way off where it needs to be. One of the worst aspects of Win10 is the forced updates! Not only does Microsoft force security updates or features on you, they force buggy or broken drivers as well as the occasional update that causes more problems than it fixes

Windows is Windows Does

25 June 2019
Once again Windows is a big disappointment. The interface is just plain confused.

Regrettably, it has ended my attempt to flee Mac restrictive hardware ecosystem.

9 June 2019
Absolute rubbish. Would not install into a new hard drive. Would only install as much as 11% every time I tried to install it...just kept saying File missing or file corrupt . Had to call in Geeks on Wheels who installed their own copy of Windows 10...NO PROBLEM AT ALL.....SO IT COST ME THIS +gst for software and $145 For tech help . Tried to return it to PB TECH BUT THEY DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO PBTECH

Very good!

27 May 2019
For users like me because of my Uni work I need an operating system that allows me to use 32 bit software as well as 64 bit software and this is the operating system that will allow you to do so!

I highly recommend if you're going to be using software that uses both 32 bit and 64 bit programs!

Product Key Great, USB not so much.

23 May 2019
I tried many different methods to try and get the USB provided to work and boot up the windows 10 download. In the end I ended up creating my own USB to install windows on my new PC. Product key provided worked fine.

Typical Microsoft garbage

23 May 2019
Key worked fine, but the install files were incomplete or corrupted. Spent hours of my valuable time trying to figure out what exactly was wrong when in truth is was just another crappy microsoft product. Surprise, surprise.
Had to go out and buy a brand new usb stick and use that instead. All in all, I'd have preferred to buy the key directly from microsoft for double what I paid, rather than spend hours fixing this. What BS
P.S. the sent usb's files cannot be removed, so now it's completely useless. I've got to pay for it to be taken to the electronic waste center or just throw it in the bin, environment and planet be damned.

Good for the poduct key

27 April 2019
Had to get a mate to whip up a media install device for me, because the included usb was missing a kernel file (Annoying). One os install and product key entry later; I'm well pleased with windows 10 and will install it on all my future builds. (With my own usb of course)

USB didn't work

22 April 2019
Couldn't it it to install on my new Intel nuc, had to make my own install usb from the Windows website instead.

Licensing key worked and that's all you're paying for really.

A little frustrating and if the nuc was my only PC (I've got a laptop) and that fact the nuc comes without an OS I would of been unable to make my own and would of needed to go back to the store for a replacement.
