This is the best investment I made for my cat this year!

At first, I was a bit worried as my cat is so used to being fed by me (as in she 'needs' to see me get the food out of the drawer and put it in her bowl) but slowly she began to get used to her new routine and boy it's such a relief as I am free to be occupied with work or just be away from home and in the back of my mind I know she'll be fed timely.

It does give you a notification when food has been dispensed although after a month or so of usage, I have noticed that notification time is not always real-time, but as long as my cat is being fed on time, I am happy.

I purchased the Xiaomi Smart Pet Automatic Feeder as knew it would have a more premium look and feel to the other pet feeders around. I did limited research so once I started to use it was further impressed:
- App easy to use and can set up multiple feeding times in 24 hour window and set how many 5 gram portions to drop for each feeding.
- Can drop additional portions on command with the app or the button on top. Handy when cat meowing for extra serve.
- Holds a lot of dry food, so don't have to refill for a while.
- The option of multiple small portions helps my cat who eats too fast and sometimes vomits.

- The power plug is AU/NZ type and handy that can just take out how many cable needed and leave the rest of the cable inside the machine.

The schedule feeder is great but it wouldn't schedule any feeds on the first day (I think it may have been due to too many manual feeds). Worked fine after that. Easy to set-up

We have a small dog who was always demanding food, this has taken the stress of us and the bonus is the delivery amount is pretty accurate so we are no longer overfeeding our dog. Highly recommend. Awesome machine. If you are in the Xiaomi ecosystem, it helps a lot too. Just make sure you are using the correct size and shap food so it can dispense the food correctly Awesome machine.
