Are you in the market for a well known brand, with a very highly rated (80+ gold) power supply - for significantly less than comparable models on the market?
Look no further. This PSU absolutely just does what it says on the tin.
I bought it during Black Friday 2018. Barely two months down the path (and with a 3 week holiday gap), the power supply had produced frequent random reboots. Was able to prove to PB Tech Wellington that random reboots stopped after installing a new EVGA power supply. Credit to PB Tech Wellington for prompt refund and general helpfulness. This is by no means a cheap and nasty model but I guess every brand has lemons from time to time.
The modular cables are a plus as any unused ones can be removed. only negatives are the distance between the sata plugs was a little short for my liking and the unit makes a very high pitched squeal when the system is shut down, but not when hibernating. Might just be my unit though.
Very happy with this power supply. Has a quality look and feel, cables are also very well made. Highly recommend.

Does its job and is usually cheaper than other known brands, but with the same quality or even better.
Power supply is very noisy sometimes , fan must be hitting something.

This 650 watt gold power supply delivers the required power needed to run most mid-high end desktop builds. It being fully modular means that it is easy to route all of your power cables and easy to fit within most cases. This unit runs at a good temperature (probably because of its large cooling fan) and could be used to upgrade in the future.
Swapped these to EVGA 750w as I have upgraded the gpu!
Have only had the unit for a year and it has now failed, cutting power to my PC when anything more than a SSD is connected to it. Any USB device also causes it to hard power down.
Will be returning my unit ASAP.
