Great buy so far and it performs well
We do small numbers of printing and copying and scanning but for the price it is a good buy
Easy to set up and connect and compact size make it ideal
Only criticism would be the scanning which is is almost too good and difficult to even out the scan background which picks up the crinkle in the paper

The printer is great but I was surprised that it had an exterior Paper tray that wasnt visible in any photos of the product. It means it take up more desk footprint than usual. The printer was super easy to connect, I used the WPS button on the router and it connected in seconds. It prints really fast and legibly. The service I fot from PB Tech was astonishing. This printer reminds me of the mule, the offspring of a donkey and a horse.

Like the mule, this printer/scanner unit is user-friendly, hardy and works well under pressure. It is not capable of producing viable offspring and is technically infertile. Thanks to lockdown I needed to start printing documents to sign and scan from home. Spent a little while deciding and this seemed like the best deal. Turns out it was. Awesome little laser printer that was easy to setup, prints quickly, has decent quality scanning and printing, and is nice and quiet. This printer is being accessed by 2 Laptops, 1 Apple, and 1 desktop computers wirelessly. without any problems and so far, is proving very economical. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend PB Tech and Brother printers to anyone who are sick and tired of paying excessive amounts for ink cartridges. We have always used the larger Brother 'MFC' printers, but we never used all the functions. So we decided to try the smaller, lower spec DCP-1610W.

It's a greater little printer ... print quality is the same as the MFC; print speed is only a little slower; it is less than half the price of the MFC; and the toner cartridges are much cheaper (very happy about that!) Easy to Set Up then it is ready to go.

I have it set up to my Lenovo Win 11 Laptop, ASUS Android Chromebook and Samsung Phone - all print and scan easily.

Very fast delivery from PBTech. Nice printer with easy set up, fast configuration, and immediate readiness. First page printed - the output was so fast, I wasn't ready to catch it :)
Two very minor points:
1) Not displayed on the product page but the paper input tray folds outwards, taking up extra space. Would have been nice to have known this in advance. Perhaps an updated pic?
2) Doesn't mention on the product page that the first toner cartridge is included. Definitely worth mentioning that clearly :)

Was pretty happy when it showed up. It was easy to set up although with only up/down arrows to enter the wifi password left me regretting a long password. Apart from that it works sweet. I didn't realise it doesn't come with a usb-printer cable so I had to buy that separate for my one device with no wifi, but that was OK because I needed a long on anyway.
