Registration is online and straight forward .. do it as they will extend the warranty by extra 1yr ...

This printer prints much faster than our previous (Brother) one, which was also a good device. The print is sharper and the colour prints are much better. We are very happy with this unit.

Easy to set up and a breeze to use.
This model has a design fault.
Despite numerous head cleans and alignment procedures this printer never printed straight vertical lines. The alignment was always poor.
With the help of Brother support over the phone the fix was to disable bidirectional printing via the advanced options in the Brother printer driver.
Now the printer works better but no longer prints in both directions meaning page printing is slower.
I asked if this was a known fault for the J4440DW MFC, and they replied that it is an issue.
So, if you want the faster printing that is advertised then you may run into aligment issues. But otherwise it works well.
Brother MFC-J4440DW - Great Printer - Great Deal!
I've been keeping an eye out for a good printer deal for some time and this one fitted the bill, with all the features I need, supplied with enough ink for up to a year, a great price and a cash-back offer. PB Tech delivered promptly as always and at theb best price around. This is my first Brother printer and couldn't be happier with my purchase so far.
