Just one thing is, i have to mannually feed the papers for scanning.

I've bought a cheap HP printer first but it wouldn't work and always lose connection so it just had to go. After that I looked of a more expensive printer and decided on the 2710. I'm really glad I did because it just works! The set up of the printer to WiFi and router was easy enough and hasn't lost connection yet! It also has a phone app to adjust all the settings and comes with a software bundle for printer and scanner.
The ink is also relatively cheap. It comes in quite large bottles. For about $17 each.

Ink is cheap, set up is somewhat complicated and printing is limited to the app can't print from.other apps, but works well and ink seems to last ages. Had this about 6 months now. Kids do a lot of printing on it and is only down to the half mark on the black tank. Am very impressed.
Good quality printing.
Downsides: very slow to do first print (>20 seconds from sending through), external paper feed at back is a bit annoying , as the paper sits at 45 degree angle so takes a bit more room on the desk than you'd think, buttons on top make no sense so I blu-tacked a piece of paper on saying what each button does.
If you don't need a lightening fast printer this is a very good option, just from the ink cost saving point of view. Had this about 6 months now. Kids do a lot of printing on it and is only down to the half mark on the black tank. Am very impressed.

Not my first Epson, but first ECO tank model. Light weight, simple straight-through paper feed, easy ECO tank filling (no spills so far !). Clean output. Only time will tell if the suggested 2-year initial ink endurance will happen. Ink bottles noticeably cheaper at $20 than the cartridge's I used to use, but hopefully have to wait 2 years to find out ! Software installed easily and works. I'm still using the USB connection, not the wireless link, but both are standard. Not my first Epson, but first ECO tank model. The ink container that come with the printer are huge and will last for ages, and then you just need to buy a new bottle of a colour to keep it topped up. Does good prints and scans.
