Used for connection from Mac to Extended Monitor. Used for connection from Mac to Extended Monitor.

Bought this cable today and a monitor started flickering an hour after connection. So I tried with another DP cable and it worked just fine, which I had to conclude that this cable is unusable. Furthermore, I just realised that this cable doesn't indicate the name of manufacturer or brand. Very suspicious... It was recommended by one of the staff in at Manukau PB Tech and I am very disappointed. I am going to get a refund or exchange with alternative cable. This cable lacks the required shielding and quality to support 4K 60Hz without signal loss.
30Hz, it's fine however at 60Hz, a 4K screen will turn off and on again constantly. You would see similar behaviour with a high frequency 1440p display.
