I used it to clone an old MSATA ssd. Its sata only and won't with with NVMe only M.2 ssd's but so long as you know why you are buying it it'll serve you well as a tool in your workshop. This was a perfect little card for an second additional drive in an Intel NUC to replace the 2.5” sad bay. Use either one M.2 or one mSATA not both at same time. Not recommended for NVMe M.2 as you can but a cheaper drive for the same performance this can deliver. The M.2 SSD I wanted to use this with did not fit the socket on the board. Was not clear from the description exactly what SSD's would fit and which would not. I thought all M.2 drives were the same bu apparently not. This adapter is now lying in my drawer of spare parts gathering dust!
