Enough CPU to be useful at price that is hard to beat - except perhaps by a Pi Zero. This is one was purchased to be a VPN server and with a nice Neo case (also from PB) is firmly part of the network allowing me to work safely from cafes etc. There is a lot of support for pies on the net and the learning journey is generally easy. Upgrade from a 3B to a 4 running on PoE.

Works fantastic, no problems setting up 2 to be ad blocker and VPN. Kind of hard to install PoE hat, but not really a big deal. Upgrade from a 3B to a 4 running on PoE.

I have owned a Model 3 for years, continuously sending aircraft data to FlightRadar. This Pi 4 works as it should but don't buy this 1GB model unless it is for a low memory dedicated job. A 2GB RAM version would be the minimum. With this one, if you open Firefox and then Gmail it jams and will not read or send mail. Yiou then must unplug power to force reboot. I don't like the USB-C power plug nor the micro-HDMI connectors of which there are two. They are all flimsy and will always have adapters plugged in. Raspberry Pi runs on 5V now with a USB-C connector so you need this. No more using the 12V power supply lying the workshop about the a proper round DC plug connector. This raspberry pi is such a cool little thing, very powerful and strong, perfect for my needs (3d Printing/Octoprint). Ordered it online and had it in my hands the next day. Nice and small so won't be in the way at all. Doesn't come with cables or anything else like that, so unless you have spares laying around you might need to buy some. overall this is a very good product, and priced very well, cheapest I've seen that's in stock.
