My only gripe was the notifications and how tedious they were to get rid of lol. But I guess you can chalk that down to not having used an Alexa device in the past, once I figured out how to stop them it's been great.

Reasonable sound for speaker size but if you're after decent bass, look elsewhere. Purchased for my 10yo son who now enjoys Alexa. Needs amazon subscription for full functionality.
Purchased this as a Christmas present for my wife and she loves it.
Firstly PBtechs service was hassle free, picking the item up from their Wellington store meant no delays.
As for the Echo Dot, Alexa works flawlessly (setup via the mob app) and the speaker offers good sound quality. I do recommend the version with the clock if used as an alarm clock for the obvious reason that you will have to ask for the time otherwise. (Even though Alexa will whisper if set to do so
