These little Edifiers are the best speakers I've bought in the last ten years. They aren't built to create a large volume of sound, but the sound is clear, crisp, and well-rounded. They provide quite sufficient bass response to fill a room at a reasonable volume. The Optical input and Bluetooth input were major selling points for me, and both function very well. The bluetooth implementation in particular is extremely user-friendly. I would absolutely buy these again.

We've got these plugged directly into the optical output of our 4k TV, and the sound is quite a bit clearer than the previous speakers we were using (and way better than the TV speakers). The tiny remote is a real bonus too (our previous speakers didn't have one). The sound is really good - they aren't going to shake the walls but they are more than loud enough to ensure you get a good experience from movies and music. The bass is surprisingly good too (not quite as good as having a sub, but there's plenty there if you like your bass).
