This product works manages to do everything fine except for the horrible connection issues. It feels like random chance if the device will be accessable by the app or Google home, even after repositioning it and ensuring good internet connection. The selling point was the board's smart capability - to connect appliances using a harder to reach socket, and be able use an app or voice commands to control them easily.
Instead, the power board spends most of its time offline, rendering both its own app and Google assistant useless to control it. It is pot luck whether I can use an appliance when I ask Google for it, after opening its own proprietary app, or only after 5 minutes of uninstalling and reinstalling and reconnecting.
I have smart plugs and bulbs from Tapo, which counted all together have been offline three times in two years - this is offline three times a day at least.

Trying to work through all their 'troubleshooting' before uninstalling it - each time it seems to work for about a day, then fails again.

25/08/2023 UPDATE: Follow up - get the 3 outlet WiFi power board from TP-Link Kasa Smart instead!

Following up from my review in May - after trying FAR too long to troubleshoot this awful product, returned it and bought the Kasa Smart version instead. Though 1 socket and 2 USB ports fewer, Kasa's is exponentially more reliable, far better performing with Google Assistant, less prone to dropping off the WiFi network, and handily has the option to also turn the sockets on/off from the device itself as well through the app/voice command, which the Brilliant Smart product does not offer. No problems whatsoever with the TP-Link Kasa Smart power board after 3 solid months of use, it worked right out of the box and I haven't once had to reinstall the or reconnect GoogleHome.

I've only tried one unit, but with all plug points used, I had to wiggle plug 4 to get power, and power went off on that plug when I pushed on the plug, until I wiggled again. This was a two prong plug in good condition, and I managed to rectify the problem by swapping plugs around. Used the product for 1 week. App is easy to use and integrates with google home. Worked well for a couple of years and then the USB plugs suddenly died. Combined with suspicious sounds now when turned on, it has ended up in the bin.

Bought at the end of 2022, but came back to see what the warranty period was. As this thing is starting to making all kinds of noises and seems to be slowly dying on me. We got three of these on a deal. It hadn’t been a year until two of them started to rattle with periodic clicking rather loudly - too loud to sleep with it in a room and too intimidating to keep it plugged.

I was able to repair them: in both cases several capacitors blew up. Replacing them addressed the issue. However, all three devices emit noticeable amount of heat where those capacitors are, so I suspect there’s some flaw in the design of the device. Capacitors shouldn’t heat up when selected and installed properly. That could be the reason why they blew up in the first place. Perhaps they should have put higher voltage ones or the issue is more fundamental.
Other than that, there haven’t been any issues with connectivity or power. It could have been more compact and more sturdy.
We also have Lenovo Smart Power Board - I would always go for those instead.

With Wifi control of the device you can turn each of the four sockets on and off individually. This model also has the ability to set weekly timers etc as well. We have only had it a short time but liking what I see, enough that I am buying more from the brand. I will be linking them to Google and possibly IFTTT as well.
