Definitely a better option for those who want a full laptop experience on their iPads!

1- Detachable keyboard (great for sketching and offers protection for the iPad)
2- Function keys (Making my life easier)
3- Unlimited adjustable view angles
4- Very responsive keyboard and touch pad
5- Uses the iPad's smart connectors and draws power from the iPad (doesn't need external charging / batteries)

Cons:
1- Not that great for lap work (moves a lot if not on a rough surface)
2- No external charging port for the iPad (unlike the Magic keyboard) Definitely a better option for those who want a full laptop experience on their iPads!

Compared to the official folio style cases having the removeable keyboard sets this case apart. I do find the magnet that keeps the case closed to be a little strong to be comfortably opened one handed, but at least that means it stays shut. the case part of it is actually okay, the kickstand makes the ipad FAR more usable for everyday tasks, but even then the edges tend to warp really quickly, after only a couple months of using it.

the keyboard on the other hand, my god just use the damn touchscreen keyboard for how criminally awful the keyboard is to type on. there is so little travel and it's SO mushy, it's like typing on already-popped bubble wrap.

Compared to the apple products, this keyboard is a lot more ergonomical. The cover itself provides a lot more protection to the iPad. The back flap holds its weight well and can prop up the screen at a good range of angles. All side buttons work fine, leaves space for the Apple Pencil, charger, and speakers with no problems. Protects it well and doesn’t make it feel bulky. The keyboard attaches and detaches easily - easier to just take it off than flip around when not in use.

Keys are backlit so you can see easily in low lighting. The keyboard also includes Apple shortcuts (search function, auto lock, home button, etc) that are pretty helpful. The mouse tracking is a tiny bit slow, but nothing actively laggy. The mouse pad doesn’t take that softer tap to click on something, which is a very slight frustration purely because of the sound. Otherwise it’s well attuned to any hand movement.

I got this as a cheaper alternative to Apple’s reccomended products, and don’t regret it at all - it works well and its a great deal for what it does, protection and typing ability in one.
