Awesome product, makes the Surface line much more usable as a computer rather than just a tablet.

I don't see why anyone should be complaining about it being too heavy. It's a dock, it's designed to live on your desk. Works like a dream makes my surface versatile yet more powerful when docked. Gigabit Ethernet, 4 x USB 3.0 and the quality of the build is so solid.

The surface dock overcomes many of the limitations of the surface laptop. Expensive but been really worthwhile. Great product to make my surface pro 4 just that much better - can connect it up with a monitor, TV and has a lot more USB ports so can plug in those additional hard-drives.
The weight of it was a lot more than I was expecting; but so far, so good. Pricing is fair and competitive with other NZ suppliers. Delivery was immediate, think I received this the following day after ordering. Cheers PB Tech. Is pretty much essential if you want to use ethernet, monitors, mice ect with asurface pro. It lives on my desk behind a monitor and I take the small power pack on tour so wieght isn't an issue. Good product, works as intended for use as a docking station. It's not something I'd carry with the SB as other people have complained about.
It's a shame that the power supply and the dock aren't together in a square that's VESA mount compatible so it can go behind one of your monitors. None-the-less still 5 stars.
