I purchased this keyboard after my old Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard started playing up. Having used this new keyboard for a few weeks, I'm still disappointed with a couple of design changes they made with this new iteration.

1) the function key always accidentally gets hit as its down next to the Windows key. Since it toggles on/off (unlike the sculpt which needed to be held down) means that I'm never confident when a press an fx button, what is going to happen. As a programmer who is constantly using the fx buttons, this is really annoying.

3) the sculpt was smaller since it doesn't have the numpad attached. I never used it so it was nice not to have it separate. On the surface keyboard it is attached (like it is for most keyboards).

Of course it has only been a few weeks with this new keyboard, but I don't see the deficiencies vs sculpt ever being resolved. So yeah, I'd go with the sculpt again if I had my time over, even if I was just going to throw away the included mouse.

Keyboard feels great but not got to use it yet a can't get it connected to my HP laptop. Had to buy a Bluetooth adaptor and this is not working. have speent hours and hours trying to different things. Seems to turn off quickly (after about < 5 mins) and then takes 5-10 seconds to reconnect (on both my mac book and Windows PC). Makes editing docs a bit annoying sometimes, otherwise it is great.

if you have never had an ergonomic keyboard, then it takes some time to get used to it (as with everything that's a bit different). If you had one before, you'll love that one. It's smooth and I can absolutely recommend it. Quite expensive for a keyboard and takes a bit to get used to. But comfortable and looks great. Would recommend it if you're willing to spend a bit of cash.
