I have only just purchased this product and it will obviously take a while to learn all of its functions. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone along with the purchase of a fabric cover which will keep it safe. The one thing I could recommend is perhaps more color in the settings as it's very black and white but then it is designed as a platform for reading and writing. Since purchasing this I have found myself reading more than normal. It make reading easy as you dont have to carry lots of books around and they are all in one place. Love the size and feel of this device. It has the great clarity of the Paperwhite and yet is so much more versatile. Even when I was ill, and looking at screens caused me nausea, the Scribe was perfectly comfortable to read. Adding the pen for highlighting and note taking is a real advantage. While not all documents can be imported and noted on with the pen, it has real versatility for working with PDF's, crosswords and other, more interactive, paper-based books. Very happy. Screen is amazing, one of the best out of eink products.
Pen is great, with angle support and pressure sensitivity.
The only issue is with the Software, buyer beware. Amazon is in full control, with the software lacking features you would expect to be here.
Amazon account and forced updates are mandatory. I'd highly recommend trying to get around that as much as you can.
There are good forums on getting around Amazons limitations. Highly encouraged. After jailbreaking I am having a much more enjoyable experience. Screen is amazing, one of the best out of eink products.

Works great. I wanted my partner to be able to read more and work on script notes without internet distraction. This is a great tool if you want to research study or read without constant interruptions ! It also is very light and if the battery lasts as described a great traveling companion.
